DURING YOUR VISIT
We recommend the following minimum supervision ratios:
Early Years: 1 adult to 3 pupils
Primary : 1 adult to 5 pupils
Secondary/College: 1 adult to 10 pupils
Teachers and accompanying adults must remain with pupils throughout the visit.
A member of our Education Team will be on hand to welcome your group, register your arrival and talk you through your itinerary for the day. When leaving your coach, please ensure pupils are moved to a safe area before organising the group, and follow the clearly marked pedestrian routes to the main entrance.
Your visit follows a set route through the attraction, allowing your group to enjoy the full Cadbury World experience from start to finish.
Your journey begins in Aztec Jungle before moving through a series of interactive zones, where you'll discover the story of Cadbury and see demonstrations of chocolate making. Along the way, you'll also enjoy our 4D Cinema experience, with the tour finishing on the Chocolate Quest ride.
As the tour follows a fixed route, it isn't possible to skip sections or return to earlier areas once you've moved on.
Our educational sessions are available Monday to Friday during term time and are very popular with schools.
To help secure your preferred date, we recommend booking in advance.
Find out more about our educational sessions here.
Lunch spaces are allocated when you make your booking and details will be included within your visit itinerary.
To make the most of your Cadbury World experience, we recommend allowing around 3 to 3.5 hours for a general visit.
If you've also booked an educational session, we suggest allowing approximately 4 to 4.5 hours for your visit.
Please note that we're unable to store packed lunches, bags or coats. We recommend leaving any items you won't need during your visit securely on your coach where possible.
If you expect to arrive later than your scheduled time, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your group, although some elements of your itinerary may need to be adjusted.
We want every school group to enjoy a welcoming and accessible visit.
A range of accessibility support is available across the attraction to help guests with additional needs. You can find more information here. Free carer tickets are available for students who require additional assistance. If your group has specific requirements, our Education Team will be happy to discuss how we can support your visit. We recommend getting in touch before your visit by emailing: cadburyworldeducation@merlinentertainments.biz
