Cadbury World’s master chocolatiers create hundreds of chocolatey pumpkins and reveal the attraction’s first-ever chocolate pumpkin patch.

October 2024: Just in time for pumpkin picking season, Cadbury World is today unveiling a pumpkin patch like no other – where the pumpkins are made entirely out of Cadbury chocolate.

The chocolatey twist on the traditional pumpkin patch features 30 intricately hand-crafted chocolate pumpkins, each with a unique hand-decorated design. Cadbury World’s masterful chocolatiers began creating the spooky chocolate treats a few weeks ago and have been working hard to get them ready for guests to purchase during the lead up to Halloween.

The wickedly detailed creation is the equivalent of 533 standard Cadbury Dairy Milk bars, with each pumpkin weighing 800g. The talented team of chocolatiers worked with milk and white chocolate to delicately handcraft every delicious element of the pumpkins which are exclusively available to purchase from the Cadbury World Shop.

In celebration of spooky season, the pumpkin patch creation will be on display for visitors in the main entrance of Cadbury World in Bournville from 5th to 31st October.  Guests can pick their piece of the ‘pumpkin’ pie at Cadbury World this October and purchase their very own limited-edition handcrafted chocolate pumpkin at the attraction in Bournville.

Speaking about the first-ever chocolate pumpkin patch, Gerrard Baldwin, General Manager at Cadbury World said: “There’s plenty to talk about at Cadbury World this Halloween with our first ever chocolate pumpkin patch! It always amazes me how talented the chocolatiers are here at the attraction and the beautiful creations they hand-craft every year. But, the time, patience, and intricacy that has gone into creating hundreds of these detailed hand-crafted pumpkins, made purely out of Cadbury chocolate, really is spectacular. We have plenty of choc-tastic activities at the attraction this Halloween and the unveiling of the first-ever chocolate pumpkin patch is the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season.”

There are plenty more chocolatey treats at Cadbury World this season as the iconic Freddo takes centre stage for Freddo’s Halloween Spooktacular Show, running every day from Saturday 19th October- Sunday 3rd November.
