For the first time ever we are putting the power into your hands! Design our next show-stopping chocolate creation and be in with the chance of winning the opportunity to visit the attraction for the day and putting the finishing touches on your very own design in our Chocolate Making zone. Plus, while you're with us enjoy an exclusive dining experience, tour Cadbury World's chocolatey zones and take home a hamper full of Cadbury goodies.

Guests always tell us about how much they love our chocolatiers’ amazing creations, so we thought it was only fair you got to design one yourselves. We’ve selected the theme ‘favourite holiday memory’ as these are special moments in our lives, and an ideal theme as we come into the summer months. 

So, whether that’s getting proposed to in front of the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a hot air balloon ride over the Pennines, or seeing the Great Pyramid of Giza, Cadbury World would love to see your chocolate creation ideas, so its talented chocolatiers can use their creativity and talent to bring the memory to life within the chocolate sculpture.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom with the person submitting the entry required to be aged 18 or over.
  2. This promotion excludes employees of the Merlin Entertainments, Mondelez International and their agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.
  3. The entry stage of this competition will run from 9am on 22.05.2022 until 11.59 pm on 19.06.23. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
  4. All entries must stick to the ‘favourite holiday memory’ theme and include a location/landmark where the memory took place in the design or photograph.
  5. To enter: Submit either a drawing or a photograph of your ‘favourite holiday memory’ using one of the following methods:
    1. Upload your drawing or photograph and complete the entry form located on the following webpage, cadburyworld.co.uk/design-our-next-chocolate-creation
    2. Send your drawing or photograph along with a short description of your favourite holiday memory, name and age of entrant, residential address, email address and confirmation that the person submitting the entry is over 18 years of age to the following address – Cadbury World, 69 Linden Road, Bournville, Birmingham, B30 1JR. Please note, photographs are unable to be returned.
  6. Cadbury World cannot be held responsible for the loss of any entry.
  7. Four finalist families will be selected by 2 Cadbury World chocolatiers, and these entries will be put to the public vote on the Cadbury World Facebook Page facebook.com/CadburyWorldUK at 5.30PM on Monday 26th of June 2023 with final votes being counted at 10am on Monday 3rd The winner will then be announced via both the Cadbury World Facebook and Instagram page the same day.
  8. The final creation will be complete by 17th July with the winning entrant being invited into the attraction to put the finishing touches to their design.
  9. 3 runners up will receive a family ticket to Cadbury World which is valid until 31/12/2023 and a Cadbury World goody bag which must be collected on the day of their visit. The winner of the chocolate creation idea will be invited to visit the attraction on the 15th or 16th July to put the final touches to their very own design before being able to enjoy the attraction, participate in a dining experience and receive a hamper full of Cadbury goodies.
  10. The winning family will be required to participate in press activity surrounding the promotion.
  11. Maximum 1 prize per person.
  12. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
  13. The entry does not contain any material which: (i) is offensive and/or derogatory, (ii) is of a explicit and/or sexual nature, or (iii) is defamatory, libellous, obscene, or (iv) is otherwise illegal;
  14. The entry does not contain any material which violates any third-party intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyright, trademarks, or any other proprietary or personal right); and does not contain any trade/brand logos or references other than incidental inclusion and/or relating to the Promoter’s products.
  15. The Promoter seeks to run fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry or entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable. For this reason, we reserve the right at any point to:
    1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners by requesting such information we consider reasonably necessary for this purpose
    2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
    3. Disqualify entries made by employees of both Mondelez International and Merlin entertainments.
    4. Disqualify spam, bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
    5. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these terms & Conditions.
  16. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
  17. Provided no objection is received, the surname and location of the winner will be made available to anyone who requests them by writing to cadburyworldmarketing@merlinentertainments.biz within 3 months of the closing date. Winners may request their surname and location are not published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by emailing cadburyworldmarketing@merlinentertainments.biz. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
  18. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Acts (1984 and 1998).
  19. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
  20. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  21. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.
  22. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
