Do have storage facilities at Cadbury World?
Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to hold or store any type of baggage or packed lunches. You will have to keep them with you as you tour Cadbury World or keep your items on the coach if permitted.
How long will our visit last?
The average walk around the exhibition itself lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes, not including the Bournville Experience for which you should allow roughly 30 minutes. There's also a playground, two shops, a restaurant and a picnic area. In total, most of our visitors spend around 3 hours on site, more in school holidays when we provide free children’s entertainment. Click here to navigate to events page.
Is it a guided tour?
No, you walk around Cadbury World at your own pace, starting at the beginning, and ending at the end! There are plenty of staff along the way to lend a hand or answer any questions you might have.
Is it a factory tour?
Cadbury World is a visitor centre - because of food regulations we can’t open up our whole factory to the public. But you will see part of it - the packaging plant, where chocolate is wrapped and put into boxes for distribution. Please note that sometimes the production line might be down, so we can’t always guarantee that it will be running.

Do we have to book before visiting?

Are there any discounted rates?
You’ll find Cadbury World in many promotion schemes; we also run a joint train travel and entrance discount, check out our directions page under ‘Rail’ for more information.
Is there car parking and is it free?
Yes - there is lots of free parking on site.
Are there facilities for babies?
Yes - there is a baby changing room on the ground floor near reception and a second baby changing facility half way around the exhibition. There is pushchair access throughout, except into the Packaging Plant where a waiting area is provided. (There’s also a microwave in the restaurant so parents can heat their own baby food).
Are there facilities for wheelchairs?
Yes - there’s access throughout the exhibition, except to parts of the Packaging Plant where a waiting area is provided.
Do you have wheelchairs for hire?
Sorry, no we don’t have any for hire at the site.
Do you do anything for birthdays?
We offer a range of birthday packages. Please call 0844 880 7667 for more details and availability - during busy periods like Christmas we’re unfortunately not able to offer birthday packages.
Are you allowed to bring cameras and camcorders in?
Yes - cameras and camcorders can be used on site, except in the Packaging Plant and on the Cadabra ride.

Can you recommend any hotels?

Can I bring my pet?
We only allow assistance dogs into Cadbury World. Assistance dogs can walk around with you, except for the Packaging Plant and Food Production area, where staff are on hand to look after them. If you’ve got an assistance dog, please let our staff know when you arrive.
Is there coach parking?
Yes – there is adequate free parking on site.
Can you send me some information for a school project?

Do people have to bring packed lunches?
You’re welcome to bring packed lunches, but we do have a Cadbury World self-service café, which is situated off the Reception area. Lunches and light snacks, hot and cold drinks are available during opening hours (hot lunch choices are available 11.30am-3pm). When it’s busy, a range of hot and cold snacks and refreshments is also available from a kiosk in the Play Area. Schools can also take advantage of our Packed Lunch Deal to make things simple on your trip.
Do you have people to supervise school groups?
No, but for every 10 students a member of school staff goes free.
Please note that students are not allowed in the packaging plant unsupervised.
Is there a minimum / maximum group size?
The minimum group size is 15. We don’t have a maximum size but do talk to us if you have any concerns.
If a child is sick on the day and can’t come do you give a refund?
Yes we do – let us know the details when you arrive at the booking desk.
Is anyone available to talk to our class?
Yes, our Education Manager gives talks, but you’ll need to book one with your trip. Click here for information on Education Talks. Link to talks
Are there any rooms set aside as classrooms we could use?
Yes, we have rooms for up to 100 students that you need to pre-book.

What constitutes a group?
A group at Cadbury World is 15 or more people.
Can we go through Cadbury World at our own pace?
Yes – you walk around at your leisure.
Will I see chocolate being made?
You’ll see the Cadbury World Demonstration staff showing chocolate making skills, and you can have a go yourself. On most days, you may see moulded bars (Dairy Milk, Whole Nut and Fruit & Nut) coming off the production line in the Packaging Plant, but it just depends if we’re making it at the time.
Is Cadbury World a theme park?
No – Cadbury World is a visitor centre. We do have one ride on site – Cadabra – which takes you on a gentle journey through a chocolate wonderland and is suitable for all ages.
Is there a place we can all wait for each other to meet up?
Cadbury World has a main entrance where people can arrange to meet up. Or you might want to meet in the café, which leads off the main reception.
What catering facilities do you have?
